If you can view the page http://126.96.36.199/ but not http://www.example.com then your DNS server is probably not reachable, since DNS would normally translate www.example.com into 188.8.131.52. You will also need to browse through the options, find the setting "Access Data Across Domains" and put a check in that box to enable the feature.
